Programs and Services

Community Outreach Service Center is people working together for a better community since 1988. COSC has proudly served the homeless, returning, and marginalized citizens in the Denver Metro Area with housing, basic needs, peer support employment, housing, peer support, and community wealth building to build a better community.

The Community Outreach Service Center has Five Pillars. They are included below:

1. Housing

Housing Navigators
Supports clients navigating rental applications, rental assistance, and navigating home buyer assistance programs
Provides Peers Support Services at Permanent Supportive Housing: New Charity's House Apartments
We are a member of the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative.

2. Basic Needs

PEAK, SNAP, Medicaid, ID Vouchers services

3. Peer Support

Crawl, Walk, Run, Fly – Philosophy of Service
Peer Navigators – assist marginalized individuals with one on one/group mentoring and help accessing mental health/treatment options, community referrals via network then build long term relationships.

4. Employment

Peer Support Apprenticeship Program
48-hrs (2-day) job training partnership with Colorado Department of Corrections Probation Office, Mile High Workshop, and E-Squared
Google Partnership Program
Partnerships with the Career and College program at Denver Public Schools (DPS).

5. Building Community Wealth

Families build wealth
Individuals are self-sufficient
Individuals are economically secure
Individuals are working together to build a better community
